Who is responsible

Information collected

• Newsletter: email address, language, selected topics, consent version and subscription timestamps.
• Contact form: name, email address, subject and message.
• Community applications: the information you choose to provide in an application, including optional dietary or accessibility information.
• Reading signals: aggregate article views and likes. A small local-storage marker prevents the same browser from counting a view repeatedly.
• Technical delivery: Cloudflare may process IP addresses and technical logs to deliver and secure the website.

Why it is used

Newsletter data is used with your consent. Messages and applications are used to reply to your request, take steps you ask for, and operate the communities. Essential security and limited first-party audience measurement rely on legitimate interests. There is no advertising, sale of personal data, cross-site profiling, or automated decision-making.

Services and transfers

Cloudflare hosts the website and database; Resend sends email; Gmail receives contact notifications; Sanity hosts editorial content and images. These providers act under their own and/or processor terms. Where information is handled outside the EEA, the applicable provider transfer mechanism may include an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long information is kept

• Unconfirmed newsletter requests: 30 days.
• Active subscriptions: until you unsubscribe; the website subscription record is removed within 30 days after unsubscribing.
• Contact messages: 12 months.
• Unsuccessful or inactive community applications: 6 months. Accepted-member records are kept while needed to run the community, then for up to 6 months.
• Provider security logs follow the provider’s own retention schedule. Aggregate statistics do not identify you.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email wendysuyd@gmail.com; requests are normally answered within one month. You may also complain to the CNIL, the French data-protection authority.

Please do not send sensitive information unless it is genuinely needed for your request. This website and its forms are not directed to children under 16.

This policy may be updated when the website or its services change. The date above will be revised when that happens.
